TRANSFER STATION ATTENDANTS
Full time position in the Recycle Center; 37 hours per week; weekends mandatory
This is a fast-paced, customer service conscious, essential position with varied tasks
• Knowledge of snowplowing a plus (opportunity for additional hours at special rate)
Part time position; 21-24 hours per week, Tues., Fri. and alternating Saturday and Sunday
16 hours in the compactor office, other 5-8 hour days have varied tasks
• Knowledge of snowplowing a plus (opportunity for additional hours at special rate)
Both positions offer excellent opportunities to acquire valuable new skills

Requirements:
• Valid Maine Driver’s License
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs., squat and bend, sweep and shovel, stand for long periods, walk to numerous facility areas, climb up and down stairs, work in all weather conditions and compute/solve basic arithmetic problems
Beneficial but not required:
• Knowledge of snowplowing a plus (opportunity for additional hours at special rate)
• Transfer Station experience
• Any large equipment or machine experience
